GENERAL INFORMATION

In an excavated area a specialised (strongly reinforced) plain sheet membrane system is applied vertically and directly to concrete or concrete block wall substrate. This membrane system can also lap to horizontally applied membranes at floor/roof levels to fully encapsulate the bottom, top and sides of the buried structure.

The subsequent backfill application to ground level creates a tanked buried substructure
